What is Ascentra?

Ascentra exists because talent is everywhere but opportunity isn't. We help young footballers (8–21) who don't have the contacts, money or postcode to be seen connect with supporters who help cover the basics — boots, transport, food, training fees — so they get a real shot at a career.

Who can apply?

Any player aged 8–21 who is serious about football — whether you're at an academy, a Sunday-league club, a school team, or just the local pitch. You don't need contacts, an agent, or money to apply. Athletes under 18 need a parent or guardian's permission.

My child is under 18 — what about consent?

Parents or legal guardians must give permission before any minor applies. By submitting an application, you confirm that consent has been given. You can email us at any time to review, correct, or delete your child's data.

How do I apply?

Go to the For Athletes page and fill out the application. A phone clip is enough — you don't need a professional highlight reel. You'll get a tracking code by email so you can check your status anytime.

How long does review take?

We aim to review every application within 14 days. You'll get an email the moment your status changes — no need to chase us.

Does it cost anything to apply?

No. Applying is and always will be completely free for athletes. No fees, no agents, no pay-to-play. Supporters pay a small platform fee on top of their contribution to keep Ascentra running, and the rest (around 90%) goes directly to the player.

Our team reaches out within a few days to onboard you and your family, build your profile with you, and explain how supporters help cover the basics that keep you in the game.

Yes. Supporters can back any player on Ascentra. Every story is verified and every player is here because talent alone wasn't opening doors — not because they're already famous.
